Whatever happened to Cycle I wonder? I was listening to Sgt. Rock last night and remembered just how good they were.

I shall do some research today.

Teaching your retailer to suck New Eggs

A week ago I ordered an item from New Egg in error, I cancelled the order within the hour but the cancellation was not processed and the order was shipped.

Now, I am a great fan of New Egg and have blown their trumpet so to say on many an occasion, and it was my fault the wrong item was ordered. However, the item arrived today, not within the three day shipping period promised. I requested an RMA which was approved promptly……..with a $4.50 restocking fee!

My view of New Egg is now tarnished, perhaps they are getting too big for their proverbial boots.

Well it works

So the furnace is in and running. What an improvement! The radiators are heating up much faster, and the hot water is hotter and higher pressure. Just got to pay for it now then!

Hot Hot Heat

We are having a new heating furnace installed today, the workmen are banging around down in the basement.

The old furnace was leaking water into the burner, I found this out after filling the stupid thing twice a day.

We are told that the new one is Energy Star certified and will save us 15-20% on our heating costs. In New England this can only be a good thing. With the price we are paying for the new furnace, I hope so.
